The President of Kazakhstan-German University Prof. Walrad Rommel gave an interview in German to DKU Communications Manager Ermek Akhmetov.
Prof. V. Rommel told about the establishment of the German Institute of Engineering in Aktau on the basis of Yessenov University and about the results of the business trip to Germany, which he made together with the President of Yessenov University.
During the trip, the presidents of both universities visited a number of leading technical German universities, with which they signed agreements and memorandums of cooperation with the German Institute of Engineering in Aktau to introduce advanced German standards of applied engineering education and research.
Prof. W. Rommel also shared further development plans of the Kazakh-German University and talked about new projects of the University in the field of supporting sustainable development of economy and society in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
