International seminar "Decarbonization in Kazakhstan and Energy Cooperation in Central Asia"

The International Scientific conference "Energy of the 21st Century: Economics, Politics, ecology", the Kazakh-German University (DKU) and "Energy Aspects of Kazakhstan" (EAKZ) invite you to participate in the international seminar "Decarbonization in Kazakhstan and Energy cooperation in Central Asia", February 16, 2023 from 12:00 to 18:0000, with the ability to connect online.

Within the framework of the seminar, an in-depth discussion will be held on the topic: scenarios for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using hydrogen in Kazakhstan, what are the comparative advantages of building a nuclear power plant, how to decarbonize the heat supply sector.

The possibilities of cooperation between Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries will also be considered: having different reserves of energy resources, the Central Asian states could benefit from cooperation and exchange of experience.
