Event at DKU dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations

On April 17, the Kazakh-German University hosted a bright and meaningful inter-university event — “UN Anniversary,” organized in collaboration with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The occasion marked the anniversary of the San Francisco Conference, where the UN Charter was signed. The event was organized by students of the Faculty of World Politics at DKU: Darya Panskaya, Allen Alekeev, and Dinislam Anarkulov.

Participants explored the history of the United Nations through a video presentation, demonstrated their knowledge in a quiz, and showcased their creativity in a contest. The highlight of the day was the business game “Case-Solving,” where students took on the roles of UN delegates and tackled current issues in Central Asia.

The honored guest was Dr. Leila Fedorovna Delovarova, Director of the Regional Resource Center for UN Information at KazNU.

Judging was provided by professors from both universities.

The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and inspiring.

We thank all participants for their engagement, the guests for their interest, and the organizers for a job well done!
