DKU is pleased to invite all to the next DKU Talk on «Exploring a Multidisciplinary World: Hungary & Óbuda University by Dr. Andrea Tick”
The presentation will introduce Hungary and Óbuda University to raise awareness of Hungarian culture and to call students' attention to the BSc and MSc courses offered by Óbuda University and possible Erasmus+ scholarship.
The second part of the presentation will outline the research group the presenter work in, her main research areas and research results, that is the cyber safety and security awareness as well as the digitalization in education and among SMEs research projects.
Andrea Tick is an associate professor at Óbuda University Keleti Faculty of Business and Management. She completed her MA in English language and literature, Mathematics and Computer Sciences and her BSc in Economics. Her PhD and Dr. habil research areas are digital teaching and learning with special cyber security awareness. She has over 25 years' experience in teaching in higher education where she teaches statistics, data analytics, Business Intelligence, data mining, ERP systems, social and economic forecast but she also teaches research methodology. Her research interests include internet safety & security, cyber safety & security, user behavior regarding digital learning, cyber safety & security awareness, and the human factor in cyber security.
The presenter plans to extend her research; young researchers are welcome to join the research team!
