President of Kazakhstan-German University Professor Volrad Rommel and DKU Vice-President for International Cooperation Barbara Janusz-Pavletta took part in the international forum on integration of science and business EKTU RnD FORUM-2023, which was held on April 10 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev. D. Serikbayev.
The goal of the event was to create a communication platform for interaction between universities and industry, integration of science and business. The forum brought together international experts, representatives of business and executive authorities. Among the participants was also the Permanent Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kazakhstan Holgar Kolli.
In his speech at the forum and in the plenary sessions, Professor Volrad Rommel shared his experience in training engineering personnel according to German standards and told about the implementation of RnD (Research and Development) projects in German universities.
At the end of the forum a memorandum of cooperation between DKU and D. Serikbayev Technical University was signed. D. Serikbayev Technical University in the field of development of joint educational programs, exchange of scientific information and joint research activities.
