Students of the “International Relations” program — Liliya Kim, Antonina Tleuliyeva, Anna Lishchenko, Elizaveta Brezhneva, and Milana Popova — currently studying through dual degree and academic mobility programs at the partner university Hochschule Rhein-Waal (Germany), took part in an educational trip to the European Commission in Brussels.
Visiting one of the key institutions of the European Union offered a unique opportunity to learn how decisions are made that affect millions of EU citizens and people beyond its borders. During the visit, students learned more about the structure and functions of the European Commission, interacted with experts, asked questions, took part in discussions, and experienced how European democracy works in practice.
Such trips are an important part of the educational process, helping expand students' academic and professional horizons while shaping their global outlook and understanding of contemporary international affairs.
