The program covers interdisciplinary issues in the field of supply, distribution and rational use of water resources in Central Asia. The priority objective is to share international best practices to help solve water and environmental problems at all levels.
The content of the program is developed jointly with the Freie Universität Berlin, which has many years of experience in water management education, including in Central Asia.
Classes on profile modules are taught by both professors of Freie Universität Berlin and experts from specialized German and Central Asian organizations. Students actively participate in research projects and practical activities during their studies.
Requirements for admission:
Citizenship of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan;
Bachelor's degree in natural, agricultural or technical sciences. Or in economic, social and human sciences with work experience (minimum 3 years) in water resources management, environmental studies or hydraulic engineering.
