Central Asian Journal of Water Research (CAJWR) Included in Scopus

The Kazakh-German University (DKU) is pleased to announce that its Central Asian Journal of Water Research (CAJWR) has been accepted for inclusion in the Scopus index, marking a significant milestone in the journal’s development and in advancing water research at the University.

This achievement reflects the sustained efforts of the journal’s Editorial Board, reviewers, authors, and editorial teams at DKU to uphold the highest standards of scientific quality, editorial integrity, and international visibility. Inclusion in Scopus will substantially increase the global discoverability of articles published in CAJWR, enhance citation opportunities, and further strengthen the journal’s role as a platform for high-quality research on water resources and sustainable development in Central Asia and beyond.

The University also wishes to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of the journal’s past and present editorial teams. Special appreciation is extended to former Editor-in-Chief Dr. Barbara Janusz-Pawletta and former Managing Editor Altynai Espembetova, whose vision, dedication, and leadership made a lasting contribution to the journal’s successful development and eventual inclusion in Scopus.
