The CRGE Reading Group is an online interactive platform intended to encourage an academic conversation around central themes of the social sciences. It is a collaborative space for DKU faculty, students, and researchers, as well as others to analyze scholarly literature, share ideas, and develop analytical skills.
Each session is devoted to a chosen academic text (including journal articles, book chapters, theoretical frameworks and recent research findings). Participants are welcome to critically engage with the material, suggest insights, and consider implications for modern research and policy.
The Reading Group tackles important social science issues through discussions led by experts. Sessions are conducted online for accessibility and link theory to practical applications, strengthening research and critical thinking abilities.
