Online course «Modern Thermal Power Engineering — International Trends and Challenges for Kazakhstan

The Kazakh-German University in cooperation with the German consulting company VPC GmbH is pleased to invite you to participate in the online course «Modern Thermal Power Engineering — International Trends and Challenges for Kazakhstan».

This course was presented as part of the preparation of the RK Heat and Power Bill.

The purpose of the course:

— To provide a systematic transfer of knowledge on the main issues of the new model of the heat sector;

— to prepare the stakeholders for the respective obligations that will arise for them in relation to the new law.

The course programme includes 4 modules:

— module 1: Technology in the heat sector;

— module 2: Heating system planning;

— module 3: Economics and tariffs for district heating services;

— module 4: Institutional issues.

Date: 17 May — 15 June 2022
Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Deadline for applications: 01 May 2022.
