Cisco Networking Academy at KGU

Being an official partner of Cisco, KGU has had the status of Cisco Networking Academy since October 7, 2013.

The multilevel system of Cisco Networking Academy training programmes gives students opportunity to obtain different qualification levels, from an ordinary Cisco equipment operator to an engineer and Cisco expert with international professional certificates.

The programme is a combination of a traditional way of teaching with an instructor teaching face to face and online learning with the help of up-to-date electronic technologies.

Cisco Networking Academy teaches its learners the theory and practice of design, construction and operation of local and global networks using international standards. Students learn how to configure network equipment, build, configure, manage, and troubleshoot mid-scale networks in class.

Classes are conducted in the laboratory of switching technology equipped with Cisco routers and switches. It is possible to simulate several computer networks and monitor information delivery from one working place.

The training is conducted by certified instructors of Cisco Networking Academy, head of the technical area of the Faculty of Engineering of Economics, PhD. Elena Anatolyevna Savelyeva, teacher of Faculty of Engineering and Economic Sciences Yulia Kulbulova.
